Mark is always determined to further his knowledge and has recently been studying the Surgical Leadership Program at the prestigious Harvard Medical School.
The Surgical Leadership Program is a postgraduate certificate program for surgeons who are seeking to step into and succeed in leadership positions and to acquire the skills necessary to excel as heads of departments, divisions, projects and institutions.
This program is providing Mark with an intensive education to learn new strategies and the best practices for leadership, building and managing highly productive teams, driving better patient outcomes through enhanced teamwork, becoming a more effective advocate for his patients, teams, and department, as well as updating his understanding of new surgical technologies and techniques.
